missions, Parachurch ministries exist because evangelism doesnt
(Piper has said, Missions exist because worship doesnt). Just as the
Lord sovereignly sent out the early Church in Acts 8:4 without the
direct oversight or decision of the apostles,
sovereignty raised up parachurch ministries to meet the need of
equipping the saints for the work of ministry.
